There are three different options available for WVU Students Looking for Jobs:

1. General Student Employment is designed for ALL WVU students to find on-campus part-time and seasonal jobs, off-campus part-time and seasonal jobs, and on campus graduate assistant opportunities. Current students who are interested in General Student Employment should activate their profile on MountaineerTrak and contact the Office of Student Employment at 304.293.9270 or stop in to our office on the ground floor of the Mountainlair (across from the Games Area).

2. Work-Study is a federally funded work program awarded through the Office of Financial id based on the student’s estimated family contribution and other qualifying factors. For more information, check out the website at: http://www.finaid.wvu.edu/home/workstudy_news or contact the Office of Financial Aid.

The West Virginia University Office of Student Employment acts only as a referral service and makes no particular recommendations regarding employers. We make no representations of guarantees about positions posted by our office. The Office of Student Employment is not responsible for safety, wages, working conditions or other aspects of off-campus employment. Due to the volume of jobs received by this office, we are unable to research the integrity of each organization or person that lists a job with us.
